I got 6 hours of consecutive sleep last night! That is all.
Actually no. Yesterday, I came home early yesterday to get Leah on the road. She had to proctor a test for Emma, then ... spread her wings.
They went to Ollies, JC Penny's, dinner at the Waterfront, then got their nails done. So it was Sue (Gram), 3 kids, and me for 5 hours or so. It went well enough. Although Caleb slept an hour or so from 12:30 - 1:30 and then wouldn't take a nap later on - let's just say it got rough towards the end of the night.
We played, the twins slept off and on, there wasn't much screaming or yelling. Sue made dinner - pierogies with peas, tomatoes, habaneros ... delicious. Caleb had chicken and fruit and other stuff, but overall it was a great evening.
Until ... he bit the bajeezus out of my toe and it was all downhill from there. We bathed the twins and fed them their bottle, and everyone was in bed and to sleep by 9PM. One beer later, a little bit of Big Bang Theory and I FORCED the TV off, and no kids woke up until 5 AM when Caleb was at our bed side saying he had to pee. Then 30 minutes later he had to poo. Then 30 minutes later he wanted a drink of water (and Dylan got up to eat) then 30 minutes later Chelsea got up to eat, then 30 minutes later I went to work.
So, while I got a lot of sleep last night I still feel like crap because it was a tease and probably won't happen again. But - perhaps it was turning point to better sleep filled nights.
Things at work might be looking up too. 2 people looking at using us for distribution. 2 people looking at a huge lease. Someone looking at a distribution point.
Just hope for big things poppin' people!
