I've been spending the past few weeks since Leah's stroke struggling to figure out why us ... again. Why we have to continually face potentially life threatening situations for our family, or be thrown a curve ball that puts our work and livelihood into jeopardy.
I've yet to come up with an answer. However, I do firmly believe that this too will pass. We will persevere, survive, and in fact, thrive through it all. My wife is the strongest woman I know, and she is raising three children in a way that would make anyone proud, and still being an amazing wife through it all.
I know we aren't the only ones, and I, more now than ever, truly appreciate what we have, what we have worked for, and what we have been given.
So as we wait for the tests to come back from the rest of Leah's tests, we just hope for good news. Good news - all we need today. Good news. Good news. My new mantra on a daily basis: good news.

Wow.
So, I haven't updated things in a very long time, and for you readers out there (you few) I apologize.
Obviously we have had some stressful situations at home. However, coming through them we feel that Leah is on the mend, and now we just have to keep a mind on all of our health.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts during these past 2 weeks, and know that the next 6 months are critical for her treatments.
Hopefully the therapy, (massages for the win!), the prescriptions, and the realization that we are human will help us all keep our heads and hearts over the next 60 years!
