Pumpkin Patch

So no picture today - but I will upload one at some point.

Today we decided to go to the pumpkin patch @ Bilger's about 3 miles up the road. We all loaded up and grabbed Steve & Sue Feathers (our neighbors who have been amazing these past 4 years in McVeytown) to go pick out pumpkins for everyone.

We got 2 big ones, and a bunch of "teeny tiny" ones, and Caleb got to pet some kittens. We took some pictures but he wasn't really interested in posing - probably going to be a normal occurrence over the next few years I'd guess.

Caleb and I went for a bike ride up to the library playground and spend some time away from the house so he doesn't go stir crazy. Which during, by the way, he climbed everything there with no help (safety net me, but no help). This is a playground for up to 6 years old, and some of the things are pretty complex as far as climbing is concerned. Proud pap am I!

Then later in the evening we broke out our new stroller - the Joovy Caboose... this thing is obscene. Two car seats and another seat for an older child in the back. We did about 3 blocks and Leah thinks that was too much for her missus!

Tomorrow bodes busy - Da & Eena (Jeff & Heather, Leah's dad and stepmom) are coming by in the early afternoon, then Pap Pap & Noona (Scott & Ellen, my parents) are coming by in the evening we think. It's crazy - when you have babies people actually want / make time to see you!

  1. Seriously? You peeps are whack! Dinner out with 3 kids only a few days after getting home... then a pumpkin patch trip and a walk around the block... my Lord I couldn't imagine it. But I guess once you get it down with one child, the duplication isn't as scary. Right? So proud of you for just doing it. Honestly - I admire you both so much right now. Inspiration.
